the number comes from Microsoft saying they had 49% of the console market this year. that means it's about 1.75m left for Wii and PS3, and Wii sold 860 so.. 890k or so.

Wasn't it like a downloadable game in terms of content and graphics, yet they charged full price? That was my reason for ignoring it. You can get away with that using Mario brand name, but not Rayman.

Whoa, no, Rayman had a ton of content. It was absolutely worth the price, probably the best platformer this generation, 2D or 3D. Shame it only did 50k; Ubisoft made a poor choice not only releasing it in November, but also on the same day as AC.

What's amazing is that I don't know anyone that LOVED Oblivion, yet Skyrim had ridiculous hype.
I don't get how there are so many people that got the impression Rayman was just DLC. Was there some news story that falsely claimed that or something?
Worldwide? I believe it's something like 5 million behind? It doesn't sell much anymore in the U.S. or Europe or Japan, but it's making round in places like the Middle East and South America that keep it doing millions each year.
