So I'm trying to write a book scene in a spaceship and I'm completely blanking on what to call this section of the ship. It's been a week now and it's driving me bonkers.

It's kind of a central nexus of the ship with lots of hallways branching off from it. You basically have to go here to get anywhere else. One whole side has screens which are connected to cameras on the outside of the ship, giving the illusion of it being a wall of windows to space. But it's main purpose isn't to look outside so it isn't a viewing deck or observatory or anything, it just looks pretty.

Right now I have 'Main Atrium' but that feels wrong somehow. Help me.

Nexus doesn't describe the window at all though. Atrium is an architecture term for a building with a glass roof. But Atrium doesn't describe the nexus aspect at all. Nexus Atrium sounds stupid.

I hate this.

That works better than Atrium. I didn't even know what an Atrium was until I looked it up. Thanks!
