Everything I've heard suggests it's everything it should be; great action with light but not bad plot.

I'm not feeling that, though MI2 was kinda fun with my man John Woo.

I am down for Sherlock Holmes 2 this Friday.

Apparently all of brad bird's talents transfer over. He knows how to make what he wants.

Meanwhile, sherlock Holmes looks and sounds like a letdown :/

That dude from Mad Men rockin the Moriarty, the game is afoot I'm all aboard.

MI2 is cheesy as hell but it's got slow mo and solid motorcycle chases etc John Woo is king, MI3 for example I found very very not good.

I thought MI3 was fun, and the action was a lot less ...cringe-worthy to me.

We definitely have different taste there. Based on that I'm guessing you like realism in action or something like that, I like highly stylized, I mean no action scene directed by John Woo is cringe worthy for me.

But you did draw me a cool pic one time so I respect ya on this.

I usually like Woo, but MI2 was one of the few times it didn't click. Most of them didn't feel stylized, they just felt generic, cringeworthy, and laughably unbelievable - I don't want realism, but when several soldiers with automatic weapons can't hit a constantly revealed motorcycle at a short distance I draw the line >.>;

That and surviving a collision with another person at around 100mph with no injuries.

There's also that I remember the MI2 plot being cringeworthy.

I like really stylized action in certain movies, but I don't think John Woo was a good match for MI at all. I like some John Woo movies, but I certainly don't want the stuff in every action movie

MI3 was definitely better than MI2.

I see that MI4 has 100% so far on RT. I enjoy the series, so I'll probably check it out.
