Starter, depends on who you pick. I vote Chikorita due to it being most difficult, lol.

UPDATE

ANAGRAM destroyed Joey and his Rattata and subsequent challenges.

Met a Bellsprout on Route 31, named him MANIAC! Then popped in to Dark Cave, got pretty darn lucky and encountered a Dunsparce straight away, caught him and named him HOBO!

Grinding ahoy! Ermine double evolves in to a BUTTERFREE!!!! After grinding conquered Bellsprout Tower using HOBO and then ANAGRAM to take out the big guns with Gust. Did encounter a Rattata here, but killed it.

I then think i'm ready to take on FAWLKNER! I train CELTIC up to level 11 so he learns Rock Throw and then head to the Gym. CELTIC OHKO's Fawlkner's two cronies with ease. I send out HOBO first off against FAWLKNER as I seem to remember a move Pidgeotto had that may have hurt CELTIC. Tried to build HOBO's Rage up against Pidgey, but I got a critical hit and only got one build up.

The Pidgeotto battle then went:

.....I was getting nowhere and HOBO was losing health. So I switched in Celtic.

Epicly SAD update ;_;

I make my way down Route 32 and encounter a Rattata, look like BOSCO was destined to be a Rattata... And rot away in my box.

Union Cave is up next. I grab a fishing rod off the guy in the pokecentre and make my way to the water in union cave before an encounter. I catch a Magikarp, i name him GTM!

I get to Azalea to find Team Rocket up to no good and DESTROY them with ease... This led me to believe that Bugsy would be a piece of cake... This would be the first misjudgement I make so far.

I destroy Bugsy's gym members and take on the man himself. He sends out Scyther to begin with, which i was not expecting, as i had GTM out first to get some experience. I switch to Waffles (Who is now a QUILAVA) by the way and get to work. Ember vs Quick Attack... I SHOULD have won, but an unfortunate CRITICAL ****IG HIT KILLS WAFFLES!!!

ANAGRAM... AVENGE HIM!!!! 2 Gusts is all thats needed... OH BUT LOOK ANOTHER CRITICAL HIT FROM SCYTHER! Down goes ANAGRAM...

CELTIC!!! DESTROY!!!!! CELTIC deals down The Rock Throw on Scyther, and destroys Metapod and Kakuna with ease.

I have the badge.... BUT AT WHAT COST!?!?!

But with this, it means MANIAC returns to the party after a brief exclusion!!!

CELTIC is now my oldest friend... AND HE SHALL NOT PERISH!!!!

There never was a post. Swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and refracted the light from Venus.

In a fit of RAGE I ran to Ilex Forest, only to be stopped by my ******* of a rival...XIII. NOT IN THE MOOD XIII.... NOT IN THE MOOD!!!!

CUE ENRAGED ERMINE!!!!

Sleep Powder/Confusion Combo DESTROYS XIII's pathetic pokemon and i move forth.

I come across an Oddish in Ilex Forest, named WHIP, he takes a brief spot as the 6th pokemon in may party.

I catch some Farfetch'd, get Cut, teach it to MANIAC so now he's actually quite useful, and make my way to Goldenrod.

On Route 34 i catch a Ditto (AUGH!) and name him Shoe, he replaces Whip, just for the level.

And now im in Goldenrod, will go north and catch a couple more pokemon and hopefully get a solid 6th member, then grind LIKE HELL before I face the dreaded Whitney and her Miltank. Thinking of definately getting GTM to Gyarados level.

Although I've lost the starter, I'm determined to carry on... NO MORE SHALL FALL!!!
