You must know the drill by now- classic games pre-tweaked to run on modern versions of Windows and completely DRM-free. Everything costs either $9.99 or $5.99, but from now until 2nd January those are cut down to $4.99 and $2.99
Fantastic titles like the Infinity Engine games, the Freespace series, Wing Commander series, Ultima series, Might & Magic/Heroes of Might & Magic series, Tex Murphy, Creatures, Longest Journey, Zork... there's loads of great stuff there, and it's all dirt cheap.
And until the end of Wednesday, you can get Empire Earth Gold Edition free just by being a member.

It gave me a bunch of other games for free when I signed up. Are any of them worth dling? I won't list them, since I'm sure that everyone got the same free games.

Tyrian is one of the best shmups ever, and was made by Epic of all companies. Also, Ultima IV is a classic RPG.

I'm having trouble with my Empire Earth game, I posted a topic on the Gog support board, but it appears to be kinda dead. I'm hoping someone here can help?
The main menu and the settings pages work properly, but when I start the game, the game screen is moved up a bit. Like I can't see the top of the game and all I see is a black bar on the bottom of the screen. Is there a way to move the game screen down a bit?
So which HOMM is considered the best? (I've already played 5) And any other good TBS games in their collection that I might miss because they're not that well known?

3. Get it. Get it now.
I bought Icewind Dale 2, finally. Thinking about getting Icewind Dale 1, the Jagged Alliance games, Ultima 4-7, and Arx Fatalis.
^ Arx Fatalis is awesome, but it's basically Ultima Underworld III with the serial numbers filed off, so if you haven't played the two UUW games, grab them too.

Woah, Ultima 4 is free? I never noticed that. Thanks for the post!

Alright, HOMM3 & Freespace 2 are on my wishlist. I'm definitely buying the latter but waiting until the Steam Sales come to an end to see if I have enough money left for HOMM.
