Well Aeris is dead so that's definitely out the window... there are a lot of hints in the movie that Cloud and Tifa had been living together and acting as a couple.

I think FFVII would be pretty screwed in a couples contest. There's a noticeable percentage of people out there who don't care about anything FFVII other than the original game (like me!), and of those there's a noticeable percentage who felt Cloud/Aeris was much better than Cloud/Tifa (like me!). I don't think everyone's forgotten the arguments there used to be back in the late 90's at all!

Mario/Bowser break the doubling tonight. Book it.

So... seems like everyone's going really high on Mario next match. I don't quite get this. X is probably weaker than Sonic, but held up much better against Link than Sonic last year. Mario didn't SFF Mega Man much last year either, and may have not SFFed Zero at all way back when. Then throw in Zero >>> Robotnik and I see them at least breaking 35%. I could definitely see Sub/Scorp getting that much and SFF accounting for the difference.

Trainers have STILL got this. If you assume that X/Zero = Ryu/Ken, which isn't a stretch considering their performances, then factor in SFF out of this match, then the Trainers might actually be predicted to beat Mario.
