If you got a pre-order code and entered it in previously, yes. If you just got your pre-order code with that copy (assuming you pre-ordered it), you'll need to enter it in. You'll get in one of the first waves tomorrow; I only pre-ordered on like the 10th and I got in this morning.



Also-absolutely loving the game so far. It's Burning Crusade, Star Wars edition with a Mass Effect-y touch from Bioware. Combat flows great and I think they did a great job improving the mechanics they did take from WoW.

Decided to get it today. Went with a twilek sith inquisitor. It's pretty fun so far, I actually do like the bioware/KOTOR cut scenes and dialog choices. There isn't some sort of Board8 guild or anything is there? I figured we could at least be friends with each other in-game.

World pop seems to be pretty close to 60-40 split Imperial-Republic. It's kind of depressing, but everyone WANTS to play the bad guys (despite the total mirror in classes).

though some scenarios are hilarious / actually sinister like in KOTOR2 where you can scare the **** out of some guy+ make him give you the gun he is threatening you with.

Preordered in Dec (a week before early access e-mails started going out) and I've been [playing since yesterday morning (off and on).

I'm a Sith Juggernaut. Yay tanking.

I love it. It really is just wow in space, but I like the crafting system better and the VO work really does get you more involved in the story.

So far, kinda liking what I'm seeing. Definitely glad there's a cinematic element to it, as so far it's largely <kill X monsters>, but the cinematics and decision trees add enough of a feel to it.

Can't wait to get my lightsaber!

In most cases the "Kill X Monsters" is actually the bonus of each quest. Instead of the quests being, "Go kill me 20 Rabbits and bring me their tails," it's "Go fetch me the mystical carrot, and for bonus exp, kill 20 Rabbits."

Ive been playing since the 13th. The game is great. And for anyone saying the beta was unpolished. You are right. But the full game has a great deal more polish, they really fixed alot of stuff for the final build.

Also, I am a Trooper currently lvl 25.

Also, the evil choices in the game are not as cartoonish as you think. On more than one occasion, I have come across choices where the dark side points are actually meaningful. A couple examples: You have the choice of letting a war criminal who commits genocide on a mass scale go free in exchange for information but he will kill again (light side), or you kill him and prevent him from killing again (dark side). Or a republic senator stole money from criminals to fuel her campaign so that she can clean up the streets of the city for good, and you can either turn her in (light side) or not tell anyone (dark side).

Also, companions often view choices in ways that flip from light side to dark side. The troopers companion is all about respecting authority, so this naturally leads to alot of light side points, but it also leads to moments where if you decide to not follow a direct order that is morally questionable, the companion will disagree and lose respect for you.

The light side and dark side choices are not as black and white as some people think they are. There ARE cartoonishly evil choices, yes. But there are also meaningful ways to get dark side points as well.

Almost 26. Finishing up Nar Shadda (just screwed up and used 14 commendations on a f***ing offhand saber.....I'ma juggernaut.....).

I'd say that was a screw up even if you were a Marauder. You should have at least 2 Modifiable Sabers at this point. The commendations would have been better spent on upgrades.

I think what makes The Old Republic good is that it really doesn't feel like an MMO. It feels more like KotOR 3 to be honest.
