Drakeryn got lucky. Arch-angel Calling is not going to work in Hell and Drakeryn would have had a lot of trouble with it. Portal of Eagles can call Eagles but there isn't a lot of flying room in an oubliette. It's also dark so I don't think eagles can see very well. Chime of Felines can call cats but once again there won't be any in a flying oubliette. Evocation of Sapphire and Sharpness can create a Sapphire sword but Vorpal Blasts will outrange him. I don't think Drakeryn has a real answer to Vorpal Blasts.
