A short ranking, or something like that, with small discussion wherever you see fit. I see a lot of comparisons between stuff but I've only played SF4 and 3SOE for any real amount of time. A few questions I have:
Is AE's netcode considered good? MK9 released with bad netcode supposedly. Has that improved over time? What is the state of UMvC3 compared to other fighting games?
If anyone can answer any of those questions or provide info, I will be appreciative. It's mostly just curiosity and there's no real utility - living in Alaska means I'll have relatively bad netplay with most people anyway. Just wanna hear about how you more fortunate people live.
anyways, AE has more or less good netcode compared to most fighting games. Dunno nothing about MK9 UMVC's is actually worse than vanilla's. Difference being spectator mode and you can actually find matches using the normal way.

I wanna say I get a better connection with Japan. I've had playable matches with Japan people, I don't think that's ever been the case for the east coast. I was curious about that phenomenon once and went to go look up whether NYC or Japan is further away but I don't remember what I found out.
Meh, I'd rather be irrelevant than have to pay $1000 a month for a one-bedroom apartment where my neighbors on all sides are Mexican families of 10.
I pay $1000/mo for a 1BR too. there's a bunch of samoan large families living around me. can't say I have much to complain about, mostly my neighbors are alright. the angry old white people who knock on your door when you have friends over/bears get into the trash are kind of unpleasant though.

UMvC3 has been far better than vanilla for me. Granted, I haven't played that many matches, but even when I fought people from Japan, it was playable. And I live on the east coast!

Yeah that sounds true. You live in eastern US ZFS? If so we may never play unlaggy fighting games together. But I did play one dude from eastern Canada once and that went well, so maybe there is still hope.
ah yeah. I'm probably going to be switching to a much better internet connection pretty soon, that might improve things actually. it's a shame you are a PS3 and I'm a 360. I've thought about buying a PS3 as well but I can't tell whether you guys are any more active than the 360 people. aside from shoe most of the 360 fighting game fans aren't up much.
I'm absolute trash at UMvC3 though! I wanna improve but it's gonna be a while before I'm good enough to be any fun to play against. but yeah you should add me and I will accept next time I'm on.
