Well you can see who I like more. It is in my username .But I don't have a problem with Link winning. That is fine. He is popular thus he wins. BUT when there are only 2 characters ever that have broke over 45% on Link (and Sephiroth will not do it again I believe)and Link winning in all contests we have (except 2 but 1 was ages ago and the other needed a HUGE rally for a joke character to win) it is time to change things.
The only thing left is to remove Link. Now I know that you will say that is a popularity contest and that is unfair. Okay let us say there is a contest with American Football teams. And the same team wins for 10 years. If there was a 11th contest would you say <Oh yeah I must vote my favorite team because it has a change to win!> or would you say <Oh the contest where the same team has won all previous years?Yeah I am not bothering with this again.>
So that leaves Mario. But I am sure you know that Mario, Snake, Samus, Cloud, Sephiroth are all close in strength so we can have some good matches. But with Link? Nobody has a change. Make at least 1 other contest without Link and if things are really bad even then abandon that all-together.
The final thing I propose is either a new decade character contest( I mean a character that has appeared after 2000 in video games) OR a contest which we have EVERY character that has ever appeared in a video game. Now a lot will be fodder. That is okay. The point is to have exciting matches and guessing. Does anyone really knows the strength of Batman? Or Songoku? Don't think so. So that is.
The site need something. We have almost half the votes comparing to a contest we had 1 year ago! Make some changes. That is what I suggest. Thanks to people reading this and making suggestions.
