It says I need to attach a prepaid UPS shipping label. Is this something that I buy from... the post office or... from Chegg itself? Again, I'm stupid and need clarification. Please be gentle.

Go on chegg.com, log in, view your orders. You should see a link to return your books. It will tell you about a shipping label. Print it out, cut it out, put it on your box, done.

EDIT: You already bought it. The shipping cost to send it back to Chegg is included with your rental.

That is a problem, yes. Could you print at a friend's house? Library? School? You could possibly do it at your local UPS store as well, but that's probably expensive.

I'm sure I can figure it out. Another problem is when I click on the shipping label option, it says their shipping partner is overloaded and unable to provide label information at this time. They say to send an email and they'll get to me as soon as they can... hopefully it doesn't take too long.

I found that Chegg is pretty easy to work with. If you contact them and they can't get you a shipping label before the due date, I doubt they would charge you a late fee. Just contact them ASAP.
