FFX was released 10 years and 3 days ago in the US so Auron wouldn't be allowed in if it was a strict 10 year limit.

The problem is that there are like...8-10 consoles that most people even have intelligent opinions on, and then an enormous pile of horrendous fodder that most people never even played.

Ammy's gone on good runs before. Kratos, Drake, Marcus Fenix, etc have done ok. There's probably a GSC pokemon out there that would do respectably. And there's always a dark-horse of "what if mario/zelda fans rally behind one of their side characters like Midna or Rosalina or Majora's Mask? Yeah, said characters haven't been that strong before, but that was in contests with Mario/Link...."
