I liked this song until those lyrics were repeated about a million times.

Drive was a fun movie but I didn't get the love for the soundtrack. It was "OK".

We were making fun of the soundtrack the whole way home from the movies.

That and having conversations where there was a thirty-second break between whenever someone said something.

and I don't understand people who criticize the film for it's lack of dialogue. it tried to convey things through images instead. it is a movie, after all, why not make use of the medium?

I wouldn't say lack of dialogue.

I'd say... dialogue stretched to the limit. Conversations that any two normal people would have in thirty seconds take five minutes. I get that it fits and it's who the character is, but... damn.

eh, I feel like normal conversations wouldn't have had the same mood or fit the style of the film.

I do get that it is something that could be really fun to mock, though.
