like your grandparents for instance.

you'd be surprised at how greedy some family members can be when they hear of someone in their family's death..especially knowing there's a large death insurance and will

My family had a party when my grandfather died, but that was because he was an awful human being.

I'd have a wake. That counts as a party

Yeah eventually.

It wouldnt be an omg i just became a millionaire because someone died party. But I am sure when some holiday rolls around I would end up hosting a party since that money would buy me the type of place to throw a real good party. So to my future millionaire benefactor, If you die in May I am sorry about hosting the 4th of July party.

Um........

um.

I mean, down the line, sure. I'm not just gonna NOT use the money. But I already have effectively a bottomless pit of money. If I run out of money, it's because I made purchases with the goal of reducing my bank account to 0 rather than acquiring things, but that's more because I don't have expensive tastes and not because I have boatloads of cash. So I'd probably be more concerned about the death of my family member, and if it was someone I was really close to I'd use the money to be able to quit my job and grieve.

I would not because anyone in my family having millions of dollars to leave to anybody would be awfully suspicious and I would not want to draw any attention to it.

Depending on who it was, I'd have the expected memorial, but that evening I'd throw a badass party to celebrate their life, which, while it may or may not involve a vast sum of money, I hope my family does for me when I die someday.
