Vanilla Skyrim is very good, but if you can find a good inventory overhaul, get that. I haven't bothered with mods yet but the most glaring issue is how bad the inventory system is.

Hardly. The Skyrim UI sucks for inventory and spells. The journal is an improvement, other than that it doesn't tell you what you were doing that led you to want to accomplish a particular objective. And it looks a little cleaner. Besides that, Oblivion's menus completely rock Skyrim's.

I've seen links for this before, and I honestly can't see a very noticeable difference from the screenshots given. I can notice minor differences, and the chick's eyes are glowing in the one shot, but I don't see any real need for facial mods like there was in Oblivion. Maybe a body replacer, although I'm fairly happy with my Nord's T&A and overall build.

It just covers whose house you can sleep in freely in the first town, and a little bit of items. No allegiance from that.
