The problem before the 1st dungeon really only is the fact that the text boxes take an unreasonable amount of time to get through. The problem with the handholding, as you see before the 1st dungeon, is that it continues throughout the entire damn game at that same level, something no other Zelda does.

There is no "handholding", only whiners with ADHD who lose their patience if they have to read more than 5 sentences in a row.

Did you catch that? It seems that if you have ADHD you may think Skyward Sword has too much text. Perhaps if you could find some ADHD medication you could read five sentences in a row.

...wait, master! I need to tell you something else!! click on me plz!

Batteries are low message was the worst message.

At least the others are trying to tell me something I might not know if I'd never played a videogame before.

But I already have a blinking low battery symbol to tell me when my batteries are low!

actually the batteries are low messages cancel other fi triggers, so you can actually skip text by having low batteries

I await the day SS speedruns have mounds of low batteries ready to swap out in a single instant when they finally die

Would this be considered a "Tool-Assisted" Speed Run?

I actually noticed Fi get quieter and less frustrating after the first portion of the game.
