It's probably the two guys knew each other, thought of starting some sort of LLC and then ended up bailing on it. Later David ends up in a position to hire someone for marketing and decides to give it to his friend Paul, even though he knows that Paul might not be the best for the job. This isn't a totally isolated incident for him. Also, there are specific things he says that look pretty clearly like total douche rather than douchebag for a day. Did you see his apology to Gabe? It's pretty much just "Oh, sorry. I didn't realize you were an important person. I thought I was being a dick to some loser. Please forgive me." It's the least sincere apology ever. and the email exchange that started this thing happened over a period of months. This is a pattern of behavior. -- For your SuperNiceDog.
