I believe Skyrim is the GotY, but their coverage of Saints Row, especially them playing it in the quick look and on Monday, convinced me to buy it.

it's crazy how two years ago, these guys spent about 3 hours arguing over batman and uncharted 2, and this year they were this close to eliminating the sequels to both from the top 10.

I've yet to play Skyrim, but I very much doubt that it's better than Saints Row the Third.

I can drive a 4 wheeler while on fire. I can parachute bare-ass naked out of a stealth fighter jet. I get to drive the TRON lightcycle!

not too surprising really. Other than Patrick no one seems to really care for Nintendo games. I don't recall but I don't think Super Mario 3D Land was even in their GotY discussion at all and that deserved a spot more than Skyward Sword did.
