Board 8 > I'm torn between Ico/sotc and MGS HD remakes.

Thinking about what to get next when I finish my current crop of games it'll be one of those. There's pros and cons for both

- I've never played Ico
- Playing sotc on hardware that doesn't sound in pain running it would be great.

- never played MGS3
- never played peacewalker

Get the MGS set instead, or save money by just buying the individual games because they're rather cheap and seriously the HD upgrade doesn't mean much.

It'll just last a lot longer and, honestly, I find that the PS3 controller really helps Peace Walker not feel like crap to control. That could just be bias against the PSP's stick on my part, but eh.

MGS3 is just a bigger difference from MGS2 than Ico is from SotC; you'll probably get more from the experience of MGS3 unless you really, really loved SotC.

MGS3 running at 60FPS, and Peace Walker with dual-analog controls and 1080p/60FPS is definitely reason enough to buy the MGS HD Collection.

SHINE is half right, you haven't played the best MGS game. Peace Walker is not better than 1-4, but it's still pretty good after you get used to it.

But god damn you haven't played MGS3? GET MGS HD RIGHT NOW AND PLAY IT. Best game ever.

I'm not that big of an MGS fan, its something I've always had a casual interest in so its not that big a deal with me if I haven't played one of them. Although given I've played 1,2 and 4 I suppose it would make sense to play 3.
