I'm new to using Steam. I bought the Portal and Portal 2 bundle. Portal is paused at 99%, how do I get it to finish downloading? ;_;

if its stuck at 99 it usually means its done.

you can try restarting steam or try playing it

Yeah, what Shoe said. Also, restarting Steam fixes most problems.

It does that a lot. Your best bet, just to be sure, would be to restart Steam, then verify the game's integrity. (Right click, properties, local files, verify integrity of game cache)

If any files are missing, that'll get Steam to download them. But most probably you're fine.

Eh, it's not that bad. At the very least, restarting Steam fixes almost every problem Steam has.

I usually just double click the game and try to play it when there's a downloading issue. Usually works out in that case.

I've had problems with steam suspended at 99% and refusing to download the rest of the files. When that happens deleting client registry.blob in the steam folder itself usually works.
