One of my friends was born with a congenital heart defect passed away on Christmas. He had a couple of really successful YouTube channels, and on one of them he posted a video about what he was going through a week before he died. It became an internet-big-deal, which meant you couldn't read the comments without reading "lol real original sob story" and "HURR HE'S RIGHT HERE LOL" and then it became an irl-big-deal. There are stories on a couple national news programs and the memorial was televised.
I mean... my dad's driving my brother and me to our house in the car our friend used to own. It's really weird to think that people who have never met anyone who knows him know about this.
Saw the story earlier today, shared it on my facebook a few hours ago. Really sad story, but if there is any positive aspect to it, its great to see how many people he is inspiring after he left.
