There's a section of the movie where they have to get an agent into a computer server room to do wacky spy things. The agent wears a special metal undershirt, and leaps down a vertical corridor. Near the bottom a small magnetized flatbed robot levitates him before he hits the ground. The robot then drives off, and brings the agent while levitating him.

Here's the part that doesn't make sense, if the robot drives off, wouldn't the agent just fall to the ground? There's no force pushing him in the direction of the robot's movement.

I know it's just an action movie, and I thought in that regard it was quite good, I just want to make sure I'm not crazy. Somebody brought up magnet trains, but I 'm pretty sure that has no real relevance to this other than levitation.

wasn't the robot's magnetism pushing him into the movie tech place? I imagine its the same thing in reverse, 'cept it started malfunctioning instead because movie tension
