About midway through my first arc if hours is anything to go by. So far, I chose to go with Lotus, June, and Santa, met with everyone I could during the scenes after everyone gets back together.
Predix: Snake got number nine killed by reading him false information, and he's probably changing small bits of information to mislead everyone else as well. It seems like he should have been a little more concerned when Clover got held at knifepoint, but the bastard probably set everything up. If anyone's being manipulative, it's probably him. Since he's MIA and is the only one who can actually read the braille instructions, he probably knows of a way to cheat the system, so he's probably off breaking the game via shenanigans.
Lotus is going to backstab some b****es. She just attempted to democratically vote to leave someone behind, and she's going to have to leave someone else behind next time because of the 3-5 limit. Best way to ensure that would be to frame someone and make everyone else pretty much hate them. Though really... there's six people left (Junpei, June, Lotus, Seven, Santa, and Clover), and it kinda seems she's already got Seven on her side. All she needs to do is get Santa or Clover to vote with her and have the other one abstain or vote someone random, and it'd be impossible for Junpei/June to avoid getting sacrificed. And I really doubt Junpei could take Seven in a fight now that Ace is left behind.
TIME TO CHOOSE ANOTHER DOOR WHOO. Door 7 or 8, hmm. Guess I'll go with... door 7!

Yeah, that'd be good. I'm not the type that would replay the game a million times to get all the obscure bad ends in R11, but I can certainly see there's going to be some bad ends where everyone dies that are worth reading in 999. Am I currently inevitably on track for one? Just finished one more escape-the-room segment and I'm back in the room with everyone.
I can see why people who have already played the game are excited to see playthrough topics of it
Ever17/Remember11 playthrough topics are da best, I figured people here would appreciate it! Speaking of that has anyone ever even done one for R11 around here
All aboard the innuendo elevator.
Junpei became 100x better as a man after the frozen chicken incident, imho

same writer, ever17 is one of the greatest masterpieces ever, etc
Ever17's set in a underwater amusement park that's collapsing around the main characters who are trying to escape while shenanigans happen, and Remember11's about a group of survivors who crash land in some snowy mountains and have to survive until help comes while shenanigans happen
basically

The hell, I thought Ever17 was a school setting thing for some reason. This bumps it up my to-read list quite a bit!
From: KCF0107 | #017 I was considering looking into Ever17 based on what you said but the character artwork in that video put an end to that thought
Why, are you allergic to quality? That must be terribly unfortunate.

Ending get! 6th one apparently. They reached the sub, but everyone still got killed in the end. Something weird I noticed... no door with a 9? Hmmm..
Anyways, though it practically shows the killer as the tenth person at face value, I don't think it's that simple. The killer could have been practically anyone except Akane, if we're entertaining the possibility of Zero being one of the players. -9th man and Snake's 'bodies' were asploded, so if they were masterminding everything, it'd be simple to prepare a fake body beforehand. Though I don't know why they'd do this if they were trying to play by the rules to begin with. -The three found dead next? Only Seven checked for a pulse. Therefore, there's still the possibility that Seven + Santa/Clover/Ace were Zero and an accomplice. Santa/Clover/Ace couldn't be Zero by themselves unless they took some bulls*** drug to drop their heart rate to zero to get rid of the watch and fool Seven, though. Which is a possibility since we're apparently not going by Umineko's mystery genre rules and small bombs are fair game. >__> -Next up, Akane; I don't think it's possible for her to be Zero because Junpei held her as she died. -Lastly, Seven and Lotus; they're the two most likely suspects. Junpei did nothing to check their pulse and one of them could have easily killed the other, faked death, and come back to kill him later. -There's also the possibility Junpei's trippin' and had a part in the deaths of Lotus and Seven, but he has no reason to kill Akane and no chance to kill any of the others since he's with Lotus and Seven constantly.
Personally, the characters I'm most suspicious of at the moment are Ace and Snake. Why? I believe Snake went into door number 3 willingly. How? The f***er withheld info and it's possible for two people to go through a door. The stage was set perfectly for them both to disappear; Snake would mysteriously vanish with Ace's help, forcing everyone to leave one person behind as a sacrifice, a role Ace was insistent to take up. It's possible Ace was Zero alone (by talking Snake into going alone), Snake was Zero alone (Snake talks Ace into the plan, and Ace is just really a good guy at heart), or they're both accomplices.
Next, why did everything turn out this way? Wasn't it supposed to just be 'solve these puzzles and you can escape'; why resort to killing so close to the end? I think the answer could be a really simple one; when Seven jammed a screwdriver into the door, he violated one of Zero's rules and Zero took revenge personally. This is assuming the watch's self-destruct is a completely automatic procedure that he can't manually detonate, though.
Though all of these lines of reasoning are useless and a lot more boring if Zero's a tenth person :(

I see where he's coming for, it's just the plain old generic anime style. At least 999, while being distinctly anime style, is very detailed and interesting.

Which doors are you planning to go through in your next run?
Gonna go for the other door at the beginning... door 4 I think? And if I end up in the hospital room again with the same choices, I'd choose to go with Lotus instead of Seven. Though really, I want to see more of Clover/Snake's story if I have the choice.

Got the ending with Clover going axe murderer on everyone. That was a dead end that only revealed that Clover's obviously bats*** insane over Snake's death. Things were progressing well, then... sudden halt. The obvious cause of this end was her getting a hand on Zero's bracelet and the hatchet from the same room, so choosing to go with Ace and Clover during the part where everyone votes where to go doesn't end well.
On the next arc now. Took the door with June/Lotus/Santa so I could get the clover bookmark thingy that I still haven't figured out the importance of, then took the door with Lotus and Clover, then went to the boiler room with Ace/Santa/June. One thing I've noticed is that Clover seems to recover a bit from Snake's death for a while when in the lab; I wonder if I had chosen to the lab then the captain's quarters if it would have been the same bad end? It's worth keeping in mind if I'm trying to figure out what else to do later to trigger more arcs.
Just got to the part where Junpei, Ace, June, and Santa find the two doors with 9's on them. Wasn't really expecting that. But... the person in that coffin totally has to be Snake. I haven't thought for a moment this entire time he's actually dead. He's far too much of a badass to just die off early on before any relevant choices are made. Hell, if you choose to go with him through the first door, he boasts of how good of a fighter he is. I personally think he persuaded two others to let him in and made them swear not to tell. It obviously wasn't Junpei or Clover, so that leaves 3+7, Santa and Seven, just like Clover guessed in the axe bad end.
Plus, if he's alive, I'm seeing the numbers add up. 3+7+8 and 1+2+4+5+6 are both groups with digital roots of 9. I can't find any combinations that work for the numbers without him.
On the identity of the captain that was found in the axe bad end... I have no idea if that's actually Zero or not. His cause of death is way too off; that definitely wasn't a suicide, and there's no reason for Zero to have a death wish before he sees his game completed. If that is Zero, he has an accomplice who betrayed him that wasn't Snake. Someone had to shut Snake in the coffin. I mean, unless Snake shut himself in there after killing the old man, but that's just weird.
Someone snuck in during the hour everyone was searching independently. Maybe they found a hidden door in one of their rooms, or knew of an alternate secret way through the ship nobody was aware of. They killed the old man and returned before the searching was done. This... would have been about the same time Snake had gone missing, actually. So... maybe Santa or Seven had actually gone with Snake and met with the old man, killed him in a fit of rage, somehow overpowered Snake and locked him up, and returned to searching? I doubt either of them would do all this for no reason, so perhaps Zero told them something to provoke them...
Continuing on reading... Clover's gone missing?! Oh s***. BAD END INCOMING? >_>

And the question that the arc ends on: "Who would benefit the most from the number 8 bracelet?" And another thing that it doesn't outright state, who would want the 8 bracelet and not care for the 5? They got on the elevator without stopping to let his heartbeat stop.
Assuming that the culprit also took Snake's bracelet (I don't remember what the hell they did with it, gonna have to pay attention next time)... to get a 9, they have 8+2, so they'd need.. a 8. The culprit in this situation isn't Santa because they'd take Junpei's bracelet, and it can't be June because Snake's is already being used, so they'd need 1+7. Ace or Seven. (lol math fail)
Assuming the culprit had Zero's bracelet somehow (the door visited in the axe end)... 8 + 0 + 1 = 9. It makes the most logical sense that if they had the 0 bracelet, they would only target one other person and flee. Therefore, Ace is the most suspicious, in this situation.
If they have both bracelets, then it's probably Seven.
Augh I wish I'd paid more attention to doors and who went into each >_<

You have to get a certain ending next, so would you like us to just tell you which doors to go through next? I would highly advise it, but if you really want to go trial and error and risk getting the coffin ending (that does absolutely nothing but cliffhang you), then that's your call.

Ace went through Door 6 with you, right? How would he know about the 0 Bracelet?

Yeah, that'd be good. I'm guessing the one door I haven't tried yet at all, with the clover bookmark having some relevance? >_>
Ace went through Door 6 with you, right? How would he know about the 0 Bracelet?
Hm.. yeah, you're right. Unless he'd already met and killed Clover, getting the 0 bracelet off of her, but he'd have no reason to kill Clover unless she attacked him and failed, which she has no reason to because of his sucky number. She'd be trying to target Junpei (w/ 0 bracelet) or Santa (w/ 2 bracelet).
Nothing feels like it fits perfectly. I need to think of different angles.

...huh, so Snake's watch was broken. Or rather, what we're led to believe is his watch. Impossible to tell at the moment, it might have just been 9's watch or a spare.
Got to the point where I can choose which door to go into. I learned two new things in added dialogue; the topic of that face recognition word, and the fact that Snake has a fake arm. The latter of which is instantly making me suspicious because I'd imagine that a fake arm would be somewhat noticeable when your guts explode on you.. Anyways. Apparently the only one I haven't tried yet is 2, but to 6 I go!
Okay, the groups are 7+8+4 in door 1, and 3+6+5+1 in door 6. I'm actually going to try to pay attention this time >_> Looks like I'm on the same general path to the knife ending, but maybe Clover won't be an idiot this time since Junpei made her feel a little better in the lab.
oh goddamnit time to redo another puzzle
i swear i can do the first 3 blindfolded by now

i'm still not seeing how this comes into play... unless the kids who got kidnapped and forced into the Nonary Game before did the exact same puzzles years before, in which case... uhh... i have no conclusions to draw from that either other than it's pretty obvious this is some big mental experiment
more seven backstory plz
speaking of that, so Santa's sister died 9 years earlier, eh? she must have been the girl who didn't make it out alive
.....ohhhhhhhhhh, it's been bothering the hell out of me why the cards bothered Ace. He's totally got propasomething doesn't he >_> I haven't really noticed anything else that would point to this, except... wasn't he the one who suggested that codenames correspond to their number? It'd make things a whole lot easier on him if he could link people's names to their number that way
another thing that's been bothering me; why does June keep getting sick randomly? Gut feeling's saying it's not just a cold-
CRADLE PHARMACEUTICALS WHAT.. And the description of Soporil matches the s*** Zero knocked everyone out with! AAAAAACE

Before you make your last decision, make a save file and go through Door 2. That's where the Seven backstory is, and unless you do it now, you won't get to see it.

EDIT: You know what? F*** it, go back and do it anyway. Now. Because there's a lot that you may miss in both endings by not knowing what's going on with Seven.
EDIT 2: Augh, I can't believe I missed that you hadn't done Door 2 yet. That's a really, really interesting door, too.

Right after they got to the door, I could start skipping everything. I don't remember specifically what arc I've read this stuff on before (sub end? I think the torture room is next), but I remember exactly how to do all of it.
I'm guessing the option was grayed out because for the sub end you have to choose door 3 first?

Yep, police officer, was on the case 9 years before, doesn't remember anything since then. if I didn't know that, I wouldn't have immediately thought of the old game when I heard Santa's sister died 9 years ago!
