Does it have the Bauer Factor? No. Of course not. I'd even go so far as to say that Jack Bauer is more of an alpha male than John McClane, and I ****ing love the Die Hard movies.
It does, however, treat the threat of terrorism realistically insofar as it doesn't rely on hacking into some packets and tracing some cellphones with some satellites (and if that doesn't work just hack the mainframe, no big). It also has the Claire Danes Factor, which honestly ranks higher than the Bauer Factor for me.
