It was pretty good. The beginning was cool, and there was a lot of promise up until Medusa "died" in the first half. After that, it kinda went downhill quite a bit. Stein's madness was kinda cool, but drawn out for way too long. The ending was pretty bad. I see the manga is still ongoing, and I see that it deviates after the Brew-Tempest arc; is the manga an improvement?
Natwaf_akidna posted... Ahh, the ending. lol because I punched you when I'm brave, you're destroyed.
Laaaaaame. I can't believe they did that. It made no sense at all. Everyone else seemed pretty brave when they were beating him up; what the hell makes Maka so special?
As soon as I finished the anime I went back to the point in the manga at which they split (it was around when BJ (or whatever his name is, the coffee guy) was introduced IIRC) and was kind of shocked at how much better the plot in the manga was. The anime plot was still alright, though, if only for some awesome fights scenes and of course, EXCALIBUR~
I did stop reading the manga at some weird genderswap story arc, though...maybe I should go back.

Wellllllll... I guess the Kishin was kind of freaked out already by Maka being a weapon, so her bravery later made more of an impact. I'm more opposed to the aforementioned 'Maka's also a weapon lol' BS.
