The only thing the Sega CD version has that the PS version doesn't is a bunch of pointless random battles when you're in the overworld

First game is about average RPG length, second game is like two hours long (seriously), third game is about average

Yeah that sounds about right on the time and that's with me skipping all the cutscenes and getting lost resulting in me adding additional time to how long it would take with watching the entire cutscenes.
