how about when it's on sale at amazon.
like right now. i mean it's vanilla civ 5, so it's not quite the same as the civ 5 complete sale they ran not too long ago, but civ 4 is there. and if you bought a game last month from amazon you've got a $5 off promo credit in your email that expires in 2 weeks.

well yes. civ 5 is a steamworks game, while civ 4 isn't. civ 4 complete is what they have and it is entirely standalone download. no drm, no checks, no nothing.

civ 5 goty was on sale not too long ago, but really, i don't think there's THAT much the goty added to it (and it still isn't complete anyway). i mean i got it because hell yeah i was gonna jump on civ 4 complete + 5 goty for 15, but still. this sale, if you've got the $5 coupons, is absolutely fantastic.

we even know next week's too. it's an EA week and there's some amazing stuff in there. amazon rep doing it posts on CAG, so yeah, list is there. i know i'm getting crysis 2 for $5, and i already have alice, dragon age ultimate, and bulletstorm so i can save my last one for something after that.


best $5 promotion ever.
