more users, more seeders, more music, better layout. check out some of the custom layouts in the lab forum, some of them are really cool.

free leech is rare for what.cd, so take advantage. also make sure you seed - i'm responsible for my invites! i only gave you and menji invites because 1. i like you both but more importantly 2. you're power users on waffles

I stopped seeding after my hard drive bit the dust a couple months ago and I had to replace it. I had everything backed up but not the downloads folder where I kept the stuff I was seeding.

If free leech is extended I can just download stuff not and have it not count against my ratio, then uploaded into the forever after right?

hd failures, ouch. i have my music backed up on a 250 GB drive, my ipod, and google music. i don't have back-ups for anything I own on CD other than the stuff that's on my ipod, so if (when) my HD fails, it'll be a pain to rip that stuff all over again.

I've got everything I care about backed up (Emulators/Roms, Music, Movies/TV Shows, and Pictures) but I often retag or rename music stuff so I keep an extra copy of everything I'm seeding in the downloads folder to just stay seeding. When the hard drive crashed, I didn't lose anything except what I was seeding so it wasn't too huge a loss overall.

I buy CDs still for people I want to support but I never bother ripping them anymore. I just go find the appropriate FLAC and download that. I think my King of Limbs is still in whatever packaging it came in, unopened.

yeah, i've stopped buying CDs. I do buy a fair amount of vinyl but shipping costs can really suck when the music you want to buy is only available from the UK
