Expert 386 Differences: All 386 Pokemon available to catch, trade evolutions altered to level or stones. Some pokemon stats altered Trainers given higher level pokemon, as well as more/different ones. Gym leaders all have 6 pokemon Some moves/types changed

Already gave that name to GenesisTwilight (spoilers >.>), woops.
I
Huh, starting out in the back of a moving truck... what a caring family. Proceed out of town and come across the hapless Birch. With the aid of KAZBAR the Treecko, I rescue him. Return to town, discover I have to chase down May. Reach level 7 prior to doing so... and then early travesty struck.
Against my expectations, May didn't send out a Torchic... instead choosing to lead with a Skitty. Didn't think that would be an issue, until...
Skitty used Attract! KAZBAR is infatuated! KAZBAR refuses to attack! KAZBAR refuses to attack! KAZ...etc. Sadly, Skitty had no such qualms, and KAZBAR was butchered without mercy. At least it was an early wipe...
Quickly make my way back to the same point (reaching level 9, had a down to the wire battle with a Doduo along the way)... this time, the devious Skitty did not use Attract, and KAZBAR made quick work of it and Torchic. Return to Birch's lab and receive some PokeBalls... now the journey can truly begin.
Route 101 and 103 are both unavailable due to not having pokeballs along the way... missed out on a Ratatta and a Doduo.
Route 102 yields me NATWAFAKID the Seedot... woo for another grass type, and one without any attack to boot! Grind him up a few levels... learns Growth, but still no attacks, augh. Other than that Route 102 passes uneventfully.
Route 104 greets me with PERIL the Paras... another grass, yes! While giving PERIL a few levels, KAZBAR has a couple close calls due to the Poison Point of the Nidoran Ms populating the area, surviving in the red after frantic runs back to Petalburg. Having three Pokemon weak to poison is quite a frightening prospect without antidotes...
After PERIL and NATWAFAKID reach level 10, with KAZBAR at 13, I head into the Petalburg Woods. Inside, BOSHY the Spinarak joins the force, continuing the weak to fire theme, but giving a much needed not-weak-to-poison recruit. Still, trainer battles in the woods result in a couple close calls with poison, one of which leaves KAZBAR at 1 HP as I deliver him to the PokeCentre. At this point I remember I have a couple potions and antidote berries... This is key, as upon exiting the woods he was poisoned yet again, and after the use of a potion he still only survived with 4 HP. BOSHY decides he wants some power and butchers Paras and Mareeps back on 104 until he hits level 11.
This decision proves most fortunate, as Rich Boy Winston on 104 leads with an Acid wielding Pineco -- sure death for any of my other Pokemon. Even though Winston blows a full restore on him, BOSHY triumphs in the red, leaving the Silcoon and Cascoon that follow to PERIL and KAZBAR. The next trainer sees NATWAFAKID finally learn an attack (Nature Power, woo unreliability!) as he hits level 13.
Decide to avoid the Gym in Rustboro for the moment and head to Route 116. GenesisTwilight wish is granted, as GENESIS the Surskit joins the ever growing bug or grass contingent. Fire, poison, and flying are gonna be interesting at this rate...

Bring it, I'll have the poke be named Nick (really hope it's Taillow/Swellow) but no matters if it's not, but I will kill you if I get a Poke I don't like (jk).
In order to (hopefully) somewhat round out my party prior to the gym, I head to the Rustorf Tunnel. Inside, the young knight SIRTHOMPSN the Magby hears my pleas, and lends his aid to my cause. After much grinding within the tunnel (bunch of baby pokemon in there, pretty safe if not the greatest xp) and woods (SIRTHOMPSN became an accomplished bugslayer) , I feel my party is ready for whatever the gym can throw at me. KAZBAR evolving to Groyvle should ensure my survival.

A rock gym, eh... Looks like it's down to KAZBAR to solo it, as everyone else is weak to Rock (except NATWAFAKID, but who knows what attack he'd get in there)... BOSHY joins him for a double battle, and Roxanne is reached without incident.
Roxanne proves to almost be my demise... leading with a potion fueled Aron, KAZBAR barely manages to triumph, landing the killing blow at 2 HP. Fortunately, an Onix and Rhyhorn generously donate their hp, nearly topping off KAZBAR. Roxanne's final pokemon (first two gym leaders only have 4, missed that fine print before) Nosepass winds up threatening a wipe, dropping KAZBAR into killing range with a single Rock Tomb. KAZBAR proves his place as leader however, landing a clutch critical hit to kill Nosepass, averting sure death for both him and his compatriots (Rock tomb would've one-shotted them all, I'm sure). KAZBAR hits 20 as a result of his victory.
Got pretty lucky there, gotta admit :/ Now, onwards through the tunnel!

I'm sure Kazbar- the user, not the namesake- isn't thrilled about killing his favorite pokémon. Personally, I don't give a Hoothoot about Nosepass, but eh.

This. Poor Nosepass. I'll see you on the other side. :(

Guess I'm nott going through the tunnel... apparently I'm off to sea! Before this however, I am challenged by May. SIRTHOMPSN dispatches her Skitty, suffering grievous wounds in the process. Next up is Torchic, who my entire party is weak to, other than GENESIS, who is not powerful enough to switch in and win. NATWAFAKID bravely stepped forward, trusting that the power of nature would grant him victory. This proved foolhardy, as his courage was greeted with an incinerating critical ember. KAZBAR quickly avenged his fallen comrade. NATWAFAKID's sacrifice will not be forgotten -- don't think anyone would've survived that crit ember!
And with that, I'm off to Dewford town. A friendly fisher offered me an Old Rod, which quickly procured me AYVUIR the Tentacool and CHUMPMONEY the Magikarp from Dewford and Petalburg, respectively. CHUMPMONEY headed to the box, while AYVUIR replaced the fallen NATWAFAKID. That proved to be shortlived, however, as in Granite Cave AMBER the Cubone offered her services.
After grinding everyone up to Lvl 18-20s without event, I decided to scope out the gym -- a fighting one it turned out, led by Brawly. This reconnaissance would not be without loss, as GENESIS was cut down by a critical Low Kick delivered via Machop. KAZBAR was called upon once again for vengeance duty. A battle with a Heracross left BOSHY, PERIL and SIRTHOMPSN in the red, but alive. Upon reaching Brawly, I decided that AYVUIR's aid might be needed, so I headed back to Granite Cave.
His first battle was against a Diglett... no problem -- Except for Arena Trap. AYVUIR attempted to defend himself, but alas, Poison Sting lacked the required oomf to allow him to survive. KAZBAR picked up the pieces... CHUMPMONEY would have to wait, as I wasn't going to risk another Arena Trap. He will, however, still accompany me to face Brawly -- hopefully he won't be called upon to buy a free switch.
Debating now training up a few more levels, or facing Brawly on even terms (the gym trainers were level 18s)...

Natwaf_akidna posted... Really? You sent it against a freakin' torchic?
I find it fitting that Nuzlocke actually did die first.
Hey now... No need to be bitter. Magby was already beyond healing from its battle with Skitty and everyone else was weak to Fire save Surskit who's neutral to it, and is also incredibly weak. Too weak to take a hit from a high-level Torchic. He needed a noble sacrifice to wear it down if not kill it, and you were it!
At least you died nobly in a rival battle and not a random trainer battle or against a wild Roggenrola like I have twice now. >_>

Hmm? Oh, I don't care about my namesake. Pfft Grass-types. I just question his judgement. Surskit has better Special Defense than Torchic, and has a move that Torchic is weak to.
On the other hand, Peck.

My Little Phineas and Ferb: Summer is Magic! Aww, I lost to SuperNiceDog, Winner of the Rivalry Rumble Guru Contest
Did it at least change Masquerain to Bug/Water? The hack I've been playing of B/W did, and it also increased its Sp. Attack and Sp. Defense by 20, and its Speed by 30.

Dammit, lost a nearly complete write up. Ah well... might be a little more disjointed this time around
IV -- Knight falls...
Decided to train up to level 22 -- trainers had begun to potion spam, and I'm sure Brawly would be no different. This allowed BOSHY to evolve into an Ariados, sending her statistics through the roof. Off to the gym...
With her new power, BOSHY led the charge against the gym leader. Brawly's first 3 pokemon (Lvl. 20 Machop and Meditite, Lvl. 22 Makuhita) were vanquished by the mighty Ariados, but not without weakening her into the red (Meditite's confusion attack was quite painful, and Makuhita and Machop provided chip damage) Several super potions as well as a full restore (Woo poison sting) were burned on Makuhita, which would prove quite fortunate.
Brawly's final ally, a level 20 Heracross, would prove a full team effort. PERIL relieved his wounded ally, landing a STUNSPORE before being forced to switch. KAZBAR landed a couple Quick Attacks, benefiting from a free switch in due to the paralysing spores. AMBER landed two headbutts, dropping the mighty Heracorss into finishing range of a blazing Fire Punch from SIRTHOMPSN. Whew... now off to Slateport!
The beach trainers at Slateport proved no match, and the next route (110) was reached without event. PIRATEKING the Natu would fill out the team, sending CHUMPMONEY back to the box (Much closer to becoming a Gyrados should disaster befall my team again, however) Xatu also has a slight stat boost, so could be handy (Attack 75 -> 85, Defense 70 -> 90, Total 470 -> 500)
The new full team would not last long, however, as halfway through 110 I was challenged once again by May. SIRTHOMPSN dispatched the Skitty without efort, before facing a new foe... a Lvl 24 Swellow. Not one to back down, the brave SIRTHOMPSN was left hacked and mangled, allowing BOSHY to cripple the Swellow before switching off (reduced to red) to AMBER to finish it. Combusken was quickly defeated with a devastating critical bone club strike.
Eesh. Good thing SIRTHOMPSN bought a free switch. Some luck was with me though, as route 117 delivered NICK the Taillow to my party (He was only like 2 down and specifically requested Taillow/Swellow for those that were briefly skipped). Now I will be able to harness the awful power of a Swellow!
After grinding/clearing the area and gym of trainers, I'm now left once again at the cusp of a gym battle debating whether I need more levels. This gym is electric, which means that AMBER (now a Marowak) should prove invaluable -- however, the leaders now have 6 pokemon and judging by the gym trainers, Wattson should have pokemon approx level 30. Having two flying pokemon here could cripple me... decisions, decisions.
