I'm thinking of a back-up choices for studying abroad. I've been to Spain. Thailand and Germany were my next two choices. How'd did you guys like the area?

Thailand has awesome food, but it's almost always really hot there. The markets are huge, but really crowded. I'd suggest visiting Austria since I hear it's awesome. If you just want to study somewhere, I'd say Germany.

I've never been to the Czech Republic, but Slovakia was unbelievably awesome to visit, and like...a strong contender for my favourite European country. Not sure how it'd be for studying, though.

Out of curiosity, Norway (I'd prefer Sweden since I study the language, but still).

Knowing that I'd love it for sure, Spain hands down. Awesome place, friendly people, lively and awesome language. I don't personally know how it is for studying, I have friends who have been there for study purposes and loved it though.
