Now that the free month is ending it's kinda understandable but from the numerous forum posts and topics on various mmo websites the retention rate of SWTOR seems even worse than I expected it to be.

I mean the game is fun but it wasn't meant to be a P2P, a B2P it would've worked but a P2P? Nah, people do not want to pay for what's pretty much a single-player game with a chatbox and some multiplayer features.

I still enjoy playing but this one is not the WoW killer many expected.

Honestly I can't see this game having a really big playerbase once Tera, Archeage, TSW and GW2 release.

All of those games will release this year, 2012 will be the year of MMOs so your game needs to be EXTREMELY good to have a chance.
