This one:

If so, how do you like it? I'm especially interested in the quality of the dpad and how the buttons/analog sticks respond.

I've got this one and it's awesome.

The one you're looking at's probably even better, as it's newer and the sticks are placed in round instead of square slots, not sure why mine is so expensive new on Amazon.

Personally, I would just get a PS2->USB adapter.

Cheaper, and a (kinda) better controller.

I have a wired one, but all the Logictech controllers are pretty much the same in form factor and they're quite good.

Not wireless, though.

thanks for the info, all. think I'll buy one and see how I like it, then pick up a second if I do.

That was my first plan, but it's been pretty tough finding an adapter that doesn't add lag. That this is wireless and will work straight up with games that support 360 controllers is a bonus.

It's been kind of a journey finding controllers for my computer, because I'm pretty picky.

Went with 360 controllers, but needed a better dpad.
Went with PS2 controllers, but couldn't find a lagless adapter, even those that claim to be lagless.
Went with PS3 wireless controllers, but didn't like the way the dpad felt and the drivers are kinda wonky.
Liked the Madcatz fightpads a lot, but of course those don't have analog sticks.

So hopefully this is the answer. As long as the dpad is accurate and feels alright, and the wireless setup doesn't add lag I'll probably be satisfied.
