Big fan of both Mass Effect and Dragon Age (more so Origins) so I decided it was time to give this a go since I have only heard good things about it. Playing it on Mac though (don't judge).
40 minutes in and I am liking it so far. Funny coincidence. I just recently started my first ever Dungeons and Dragons campaign a couple months ago too so the crossover is cool.
So ya, just exploring Taris right now. Did a couple duels and I have been invited to this party which I believe is where I am supposed to go to further the adventure. Just need to find out how to get there now.
Any tips or anything people can give to a newbie? How is the cast of characters? Is the cast as good as DA: O or Mass Effect 1/2? Can you do romances in this game too?

1) Party is in one of the apartment complexes, just to say. Think the one your home isn't in.
2) Characters are fairly good in the game, you will not have too much of a gap between classes since you really do not need that much to pass through the game (not like needing lockpicking to actually get good items in the game).
3) As for romances, no. Mostly because of the attribute to jedi in the game. But the story kind of explains itself and you sometimes tend to act like there is a romance if you like the story enough.
