The BBC record the chimes of Big Ben every day and play them on the radio live. If you're standing at the bottom of the clocktower and listening to it on the radio, you hear the chimes on the radio before you hear them from Big Ben itself.
Now I'm no scientist, but if we could find a way to do this with light, we could see something happen on a TV before the people seeing it live see it. And then spoil it for them.
I don't see a single flaw in this.

sound particles are light and can travel through just about anything. light particles are electro-magnatic (you might get shocked!) and can't even travel through solid matter.

There is no shame in not knowing; the shame lies in not finding out

I was about to not reply to this but then I did anyways.

I suppose if you could make a wall of something with a really f***ing high index of refraction, put the cameras in front of it, fed the feed under the wall to someone right on the other side, and had the rest of the audience there as well.
But as far as a practical way to do this goes, no, not gonna happen, because light is the fastest thing there is.

I was about to not reply to this, then I changed my mind, and then I saw who posted.

I doubt the neutrino thing is gonna pan out; the theories that say that it's impossible have been pretty damn successful at predicting other stuff. I guess it could though? In any case, neutrinos only interact weakly, so you'd be hard pressed to do something useful with them!
