I'm not an anti-smoker, I'm just a former-smoker. I smoked for five years and got up to a pack a day. I've quit for two months now and I feel better than I have in ages. I didn't realize just how much they were harming me until I quit.

There's no way I'll smoke again after feeling this good.

I don't always smoke cigarettes, but when I do, I prefer menthols or cloves

yeah I don't really care what brands since I only smoke on rare occasions... like when I was really drunk last night and pissed off at the outcome of the superbowl. One of my friends who I watched the game with smokes cloves so I had one.

Fast food is still food. If you are starving, fast food will stop you from dying.

Cigarettes do not do that.

I'm not "holier than thou". Though I am "better than thou" for not wasting money killing myself and making myself and anyone in the room smell perpetually bad.

Also fast food is equally bad, yeah. I don't eat that crap either (except for a 20 piece nugs every once in a while).

Agreed. Although I'll admit that there are some non-smokers that have very little tolerance for smokers, but it's with DAMN GOOD REASON. It's impossible to do anything with a smoker! They want to stop every 30 minutes to stand outside for 5 minutes and do nothing. And my clothes always end up smelling like smoke for several days afterwards. I'm really glad that's one habit I never picked up, because it's just a money sink that does absolutely nothing for you. Might as well play the lottery with that money -- at least maybe you might get something for your effort besides the ability to insist that you deserve extra breaks at work.

None, because second hand smoke causes me to cough almost uncontrollably. I also had a lung problem at birth, and so I'd rather not risk damaging them more than I already am from living in a major city.

I only smoke socially, when someone else is smoking and they offer me one. I usually say yes. So basically whatever is given to me. It's all about the same. However I have recently found Marlboro Red to be pretty good.

None. and I'm glad I don't because man working as cashier really made me realize how much people spend on freaking cigarettes. Like this person buy 40 bucks of groceries, buy 3 packs or cigarettes and it more than double the total.

For cigarettes.

Smokers would have so much more money to spare if they'd quit holy crap. Enough to go on a trip once a year easily.
