Here is a list of games that will be at Evo this year:

Street Fighter X Tekken
Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition, Version 2012
Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3
Soul Calibur 5
King of Fighters 13
Mortal Kombat 9

Of those, only one is on PC right now and only two will ever be. This isn't even an argument. The majority of fighting games that matter are not on PC. The one game that is on PC is gimped by design and no one plays tournaments on it. Listing Blazblue and Guilty Gear is more laughable than KoF13, in any case.

Not to mention I would not be surprised if there are already ways to play Third Strike online on PC :P

BAHAHAHAHA because being at EVO makes you worthwhile. I mean, they had Tekken last year. Totally. Blazblue and Guilty Gear are far more worthwhile than any recent KOF game.

Actually I called it worthwhile. Which you have to be entertaining to qualify as, so most of EVO's lineup is out.

If they're starting to release the quality fighters on PC I may never wind up using my fight stick though. I bought it since it's like a reverse keyboard and mouse and I can practice those kinds of movements with my opposite hands on more of a variety of quality games that they're designed for. Since there are left handed keyboards though and I can just switch my ambidextrous mouse to the opposite side (though with fighters you'd probably use all keyboard), along with the fact I'm still gona want to keep up my controller skills (which would probably be done on whatever quality fighter doesn't get released for PC) it creates extremely limited scenarios where I'll actually want to use the stick. Where the community is will be the major deciding factor, since both in game and in real life there would be very rare scenarios where you'd want to use controls similar to a fight stick, and if it's in real life, they also probably won't be layed out anything like a fight stick and you may only be talking about the stick part.

Also, if you're counting older fighters, there are far more worthwhile fighters on consoles then PC.

That was pretty long and took a decent amount of thought (mainly remembering various things I thought of before, but there's a few new things I found out while writing this), hopefully I covered everything.

I'd say there are definitely more worthwhile games on consoles then PC, but PC definitely has it's fair share. I wanted to address the standard controller though. Motion controls (and other various accessories) have their obvious uses over the keyboard and mouse (especially when you look at motion controllers as just air mice), but the advantages of a controller become less obvious once you reach a certain level of gaming and realise almost everything that exists could be played with a keyboard and mouse and it doesn't take away much from any actual game, but the benefits of a controller are still there. What if you're in a cramped space and can't adequately use a keyboard and mouse, both in gaming or something in real life that you need to control (if you have a place to sit you could argue a laptop keyboard and mouse pad (that's of course if), but transferring your skills that you've gained from either keyboard and mouse or controller (or both) takes much more time to transfer them to the laptop mouse pad then transferring what you can from keyboard and mouse to controller (or the other way around). What if you don't have time to hone the muscle memory (and by muscle memory for this I mean the ability to hit the buttons without looking) to use a keyboard and mouse perfectly (granted, you could argue that a keyboard and mouse is actually easier depending on the game, but there's a point where it becomes much harder to train keyboard muscle memory then controller muscle memory, and depending on what you're playing, you may just want to train up the muscle memory you need on a controller rather then a keyboard and mouse (say for example you start out being able to press 3 buttons easily with your left hand on a keyboard, but lets say, and these times (or total amount of buttons) aren't at all accurate, it takes 10 hours to add an extra button on a keyboard that you can use semi correctly and 15 to use it perfectly, on a controller you start out with 1 with your left thumb lets say, but it only takes 5 hours to add 3 buttons that you can use semi correctly and lets also say though that you can't ever use them as effectively as a keyboard though to also address that possible issue, but the game you're playing has various benefits in it where you only need to be able to use 4 buttons semi correctly, you would use the controller) you may just want to use a controller instead (there are plenty of good games that require a lot and also very little muscle memory, but also plenty that are somewhere in between). Then there's also the situation where you may want dual analogs, yes this could be done with dual mice, but I could see it being very tricky since you would a toggle button of some kind to start or stop walking.

I will address the comment about fighters though. I'd say the best fighter out right now is Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom. I didn't know Street FighterxTekken was gona be released for PC, but since I'm either gona be playing with a controller or Fight Stick with that game most likely (my fight stick does work for the PC though and I think I could get my PS3 controller to work for it (I do also have an adapter for my PS2 controllers)), and the community will probably be bigger on the PS3, I'm just gona keep my order for the PS3 (I suppose if I really need to I can buy it for both platforms though, but I probably won't since Gunz 2 (or still even Gunz 1) is gona fill my high reaction/ button pushing void for the PC (yeah it won't fill it perfectly, but between everything I think I'll still get what I really need). Also, because of Gems, Street FighterxTekken won't completely take out Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom, and Street Fighter 4 obviously doesn't either because it's a completely different type of game that doesn't irrelevant Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom.

Actually, the left handed keyboards now that I'm looking into them more aren't fully reversed. The reason I mentioned them is because I noticed the button positions on the left and right side of my keyboard are slightly of when trying to reverse the WASD setup. It still seems like it can be reasonable adapted to though.

I also forgot to mention Keyboard Cell phones vs Standard Controllers. I would argue Standard Controllers Still have their use though because of button size, which would deal with margin of error and speed (along with problems like skill transfer).

Then there's even the option of possible strapping and Keyboard and Mouse to you, possible in a stacked position. Here I would argue mobility and extra equipment. This puts a hole somewhat in my cramped space argument, but that could still come into play (then there's also stuff like skill improvement problems).
