So far, so good. I'm feeling great about it, and I managed to get a solid SAT score; I'm not sure what I'm going to major in yet, but I'm definitely trying to figure it out. I also think I have a school picked out.
Out of curiosity, though, do y'all have any tips for the college life? Serious advice and funny tips are both welcome.

http://calnewport.com/blog/ The productivity tips are excellent, so long as you're willing to spend a little extra time in exchange for less stress and more mastery of the material. If you just want a degree though, do whatever.

two onions some mushrooms three cans of rotell (it's tomatoes and green chilies) then some ground meat, about three pounds. Basically whatever is cheapest. Ground turkey and italian sausage are both pretty good.
cook it all up. Consider spices such as cumin, crushed red pepper, and chili powder.
You can use this in tortillas with a little cheese, or in spaghetti sauce, or in omelets. Try using other vegetables in the recipe as well.
It should run you about $30, and should last a little over a week, without being ultra high in carbs.

If you can stomach CS, I'd say that's definitely one of the most desirable degrees these days. I wish I wouldn't have hated it. I'd probably have a job by now.

the most important thing about college is time management. If you set aside proper time to study, the time with beer and friends will be much more rewarding since you feel like you accomplished something before hand.

I know CS is a sought-after degree, but I don't know. I'm not a very technology-oriented person.
