Board 8 > I miss Umineko topics *spoilers through 8*

Though I came late to the party, it was a hell of a lot of fun reading along, bouncing ideas and memorable scenes/lines off other avid fans, getting amazing feedback and mind games both from our peanut gallery of goats and within the game itself, and remembered how intensely fun other people's topics were. I was hoping to see more of it in months after, but I guess my topics were one of the last ones here, and the Umineko boards are, and seem to have always been, dead.

So where is the fanbase now? What are your thoughts and feelings on Episode 8 (which I mostly just browsed through the past few days after stopping at the purple text some months ago)? What do you think is the big, collective interest of Board 8 at this time like Umineko was the past few years, Phoenix Wright was before that, Pokemon is sporadically, Persona 4 may have been for a while, and the contests used to be so very long ago? Do you think you've got everything solved? Trick or magic? What did you like most?

Homestuck is quickly becoming it, imo.

It's very similar, content wise, in a lot of ways (though not story wise at all). Meta-trolling, awesome music, incredibly convoluted plot, lots of theorycrafting, etc.

A nice conclusion, especially with the addition of choices.

That one game the is being LPed on SomethingAwful seems like it has potential. I haven't been following it, though. There probably won't be another ;big thing; until ME3 has passed.
