Sakaki (Azumanga Daioh) - Tall, soft-spoken Sakaki is uncomfortable with her height and her busty physique. Because she is shy, she seldom speaks, and this reticence is misinterpreted and admired as "tough", "mysterious", and "cool"—a reputation compounded by her natural athletic ability. She is the subject of Kaorin's (largely unspoken) infatuation. In contrast to what other students think of her, Sakaki has no interest in sports and has a secret passion for all things cute (which she eventually admits to Chiyo). Despite her reserve, she has a very strong desire for friendship, leading her to attach herself to the group. If she is aware of Kaorin's infatuation, she shows no sign of it.
Suki (Avatar: The Last Airbender) - A villager from the island of Kyoshi and leader of the Kyoshi Warriors, a group of young women that defends the village from outsiders. Well trained in Tessenjustsu, she is more than capable of holding her own in combat, despite her inability to bend any of the four elements. She meets Aang, Katara, and Sokka when they visit the island, initially capturing them before discovering that Aang is the avatar. After Aang and his friends leave, Suki and the other warriors decide to help out in the war. They end up at Chameleon Bay, where refugees are ferried to the Earth Kingdom capital of Ba Sing Se, and serve as security guards. After a second run in with Aang, where she helps him and his friends cross the Serpents Path, Suki comes across Aangs lost sky bison, Appa. While caring for him, Suki and the other Kyoshi Warriors are taken prisoner by Azula, Mai, and Ty Lee. Suki is singled out and held at the Fire Nations highest security prison: the Boiling Lake.
Yakumo Tsukamoto (School Rumble) - http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcR7fzmeqDfs3yc272faH7KvUKMPz4CX8qFvaG4UoNOEE4bAYQ36 The quiet, reserved, and beautiful younger sister of Tenma Tsukamoto, though she is sometimes mistaken to be the elder sibling due to her maturity and responsibility. Living alone with Tenma, Yakumo handles all of the household chores and practically takes care of Tenma, whom she she is undyingly devoted towards and loves above all others. She is extremely talented at cooking. She has a part-time job at a local cafe and is a member of her schools Tea Club along with her best friend, Sara Adiemus. She is blessed with the ability to read the thoughts of people who have strong feelings for her, which amounts to her sister most males she comes in contact with (including Haruki Hanai, who is adamantly in love with her). The only boy whose thoughts she cant read is Kenji Harima. However, after she discovers the manga he is secretly drawing, she becomes his assistant and is able to read his heart through his work. After getting to know Kenji through their time together, Yakumo developes feelings for him, but knowing that he is in love with her sister, she selflessly put her own feelings aside in the hope that Kenji and Tenma can find happiness together. Once it becomes to clear to Kenji that Tenma is in love with Ooji Karasuma, Yakumo attempts to confess her love for him, only for it to result in a misunderstanding.
