The official announcement will take place at 10:00 PM EST. That is about ten minutes from now, which gives time for everyone to shuffle in and make themselves comfortable.
This important announcement comes in the days before Super Tuesday, meaning it could have a significant impact on the entire political landscape. While Sess is know for his wacky antics and take no prisoners debate style, he is also respected for his insight into public policy. Perhaps his biggest area of expertise is international affairs and foreign policy, the field in which he received one of his three degrees from at the University of Virginia. The candidates' stances in this realm will play an important role in Sess's decision, but he will also examine the entire spectrum, will heavy influence placed on the economy and technology as well. The candidate that he will endorse, Sess believes, will be the most likely to get America back on track and keep it there for decades to come.
Please turn off all cell phones and other electronic devices during the announcement. Their will be a time for questions from the audience after Sess has finished speaking.
Good evening. It is an exciting time for America. This tuesday, many members of Board 8 including myself will take part in exercising our right to vote. Millions across the country will be the fuel that powers the machine of democracy when we enter the voting booths in primaries held in numerous states three days from now. And tonight, I come to you all with an announcement regarding who I hope to see giving a victory speech once our votes have been counted.
I am formally endorsing Governor Mitt Romney as the candidate for the 2012 Republican Nomination.
In a race full of Washington insiders and career politicians, Governor Romney brings decades worth of private sector experience to the table. While some of his ventures did not go as well as intended, no one can question his success in leadership positions and the results that he achieved over his career. This man understands business, he understands the economy, and he understands how to be a leader. That is what this country needs,
He will provide that leadership not just on our soil, but in our foreign policy as well. Gov. Romney will not tolerate Iranian belligerence, he will not allow the Taliban to slither their way back into power, and he will not be bullied by the PRC or by Putin. While many naive people sing about the downfall of American power, the Governor understands that the clout that the USA holds on a global scale is still unrivaled, and he will use that to our advantage.
If you support Gov. Romney, please contribute to his campaign and America's future by donating to his Super PAC.
For those who are unsure of who they wish to vote for, please explore the website and the various videos on it. They will show you Gov. Romney's vision for America, and how he will lead us as president out of the darkness and into an age of prosperity.

I've been conflicted at times but any time my faith has been rattled he qucikly restores it.
Also, there is one big problem I've had with the GOP so far. Everyone always talks about how they can "beat obama" to make them seem electable. Simply beating Obama is not acceptable. We need to CRUSH obama so that the point is made clear that we can never elect someone with political ideology again.

It looks like you are missing a word here but then again you are endorsing Mitt Romney so it makes perfect sense. He has no political ideology.
Unfortunately I can't edit posts here. But yeah I am missing a "his" (referring to Obama) before political ideology.
Romney is the only GOP candidate than can crush Obama. They all can beat him...win decisively though? Only Mitt.
I could see myself as "The Donald Trump of Board 8" if we are comparing us as pop culture icons. We both have phenomenal showmanship and are always at the forefront of the hottest issues.
foolm0ron posted... This is a game changer. I look forward to future interviews with Romney where we can see Romney's reaction to this endorsement.
I just got off the phone with him actually. He said this is the shot in the arm that he needs heading in to Super Tuesday. I'm trying to get him to do an online Town Hall here, so be on the lookout for that one.
I like Romney. Id vote for him if I didn't like the democrat. I like obama though.

http://img.imgcake.com/nio/81edpngej.png edwardsdv and swordz9 are basically the comedy heel tag team of this topic, why would people be taking them seriously?
From: masterplum | #029 On the contrary, I agree with your beliefs. Gamefaqs is a very liberal site and so I don't expect many people to support conservatives.
What does that have to do with Mitt Romney?

Maybe I'm missing something... but does Obama really need to sweat about any of the GOP candidates?
This feels like Kerry vs. Bush or something. It won't be as close as it might seem. BANK ON IT.
Bush v. Kerry with the Republican winning again? I'd rate the chance of Romney winning comfortably higher than Obama winning comfortably. Too many people dislike Obama.

Congratulations to SuperNiceDog, Guru Winner, who was smart enough to pick your 7 time champion, Link.
Also, Bush won 51-48 against Kerry in the popular vote, which is not really close for US politics. I suppose the electoral college was pretty close, but it wasn't in doubt.

Romney won't be able to win over libertarians OR social conservatives. He's gonna lose worse than McCain did.
McCain would do much better this year if he were the candidate again. Indeed he might be able to beat Obama this time around if not for the whole Sarah Palin debacle. (No Republican candidate could have won in 2008 except maybe Ron Paul).
