Except his parents were good people just like Bruce's parents, and it was Thomas Elliot himself that was responsible for killing them. So the origin isn't exactly what I would say is "reverse Batman origin" but the character himself is a pretty good contrast at least. Either way he's a great villain. Glad he gets the most screentime of all the Justice Leaguers. Bruce Greenwood was pretty good in Under the Red Hood, I'd say.
