Quick throwaway thing to test out a bunch of new ink I bought. Reminds me of that zebra gum. <_<


Might try something similar only with a little more restraint on colors.

Then have another drawing of the same arch in a more comic-backgroundy feel. That one doesn't fit on my scanner so I'll have to take a photo later on.

First humanoid I've attempted without a reference, it shows haha. But this was a sketch anyway. Turned into a semi-complete picture.
I'm happy I finally did an emotional picture with a human without it looking completely goofy.
Except the hands. Ignore those...

Thanks! The neck was supposed to be stretched out unnaturally long, but the other anatomy errors are unintentional haha.
I mostly just have a problem making hands look good. I need to spend like an hour a day drawing them >_>

There is a b8 art topic? This intrigues me.

Here's an animated commercial I did a little while ago, check it out!



It's in Norwegian but has almost no dialogue so no sweat.


I'll casually check out the rest of the topic shortly.

As I no longer have a Chester Updates topic and Chester is sorta art-ish I'll just post the occasional updates in here! (Plus more activity in this topic is always good!)

Working on porting it to Unity, which will open up Mac and Linux support + should allow me to do some more fun things. Shifting camera angles, more things going on at once, better particle system, actual 3d elements, and more. When this version is done I'll probably dub it 1.2 (1.1 was adding in the planets, bestiary, shop, and end boss.)
Might have a web-demo showcasing a few of these new things soon.

Yeah basically. And the turner is a jerkface and so totally outdated now that this AWESOME NEW THING is here.

It actually does work freaking well though. Getting quite the rep already here in Norway.

Of course I personally only made a few scraps off this job compared to what a "professional" animation studio would take. But you gotta start somewhere!
