Looking for some input!
Have a self portrait assignment due soon and I decided what I was working on was garbage so going to start anew. The assignment is to use only primary color colored pencils, so I figure going a little silly might be a better choice due to how colorful it will end up being.

Took a bunch of strange pictures and narrowed it down to three, any input is quite appreciated. <_<

my only comment is that everything feels crisp but the mouth has a weird smoothness to it

trying to learn to make gifs in photoshop.

photoshop is the best program for art right?

I don't want to learn all this stuff and then switch over to something different later

I recently started to use photoshop for gifs.
Windows->Animation

Then when you have it all set up (I normally choose "make frames from layers" from the animation window dropbox) do File->Save for Web & Device and you can choose to save it as an animated gif.

What do you guys think of drawing subjects that you would feel ashamed about for money? I'm talking about porn mainly. Does drawing straight up porn for cash lessen a person? not even some kind of 'artistic' porn, just porn

I would be willing (and have already drawn) nudes in tasteful poses and such, but uh... no I don't think I'd draw straight up porn and still call myself an artist.

I feel the same way, but I don't know why. it's basically just using a skill to get paid, but porn has such a stigma on it. But there's good money in porn, apparently
