Except MAYBE Tony Delk or Wayne Turner, Manning is my favorite athlete ever. Whereever he ends up is INSTANTLY my fourth favorite team in all sports (Kentucky, Yankess, Colts, ????). Yes, EVEN if he somehow ends up a Patriot. I understand there is little in my life that could conceivably be more hypocritical than that for me, but **** it. This guy went to Tennessee and I rooted for him, very little I hate more than them, and that didn't stop me.

That 4 point play against Syracuse in the 1996 Title is still probably my favorite moment in sports.

When we win it all this year, Anthony Davis will probably be at the top too.

I remember a couple months ago when you were all "LOL securing the top 1 pick to set us up for the next 10 years, just as planned" or whatever

now that Peyton is gone it's sad times :(

I mean, we are still an absolute FORCE 3 years from now, as Luck is the best prospect since Peyton. But it does hurt my plan of having Luck sit 4 yeas while Peyton finished his career, won rings, and then Luck just picked up where Manning left off. Right now no team is more set up for the future than the Colts, but still, it makes no sense to jetision Peyton like this.

Your team literally is a 2-14 team without a quarterback.

I don't know if I'd say "no team is more set for the future" when there are other teams out there that don't have a quarterbacks and aren't 2-14.

Watch Luck Bust, or get a career ending injury at some point during the year (Do they even play the Saints though?). After Peyton signs a semi-long term contract.

But they do have a QB. Luck is way more of a lock to be excellent than even Elway was coming out.

How can something be more of a lock than something else?

Lock implies that somethings a certainty, a sure thing.

You're either a lock or you aren't.
