Board 8 > Survivor: One World Discussion Topic 3 - I found the HII and it's in my crotch!

Figured I'd rank my favorites at merge since I'm bored. From best to worst.

1. Troyzan: pretty likable, flying under the radar, dark horse IMO. Hard to pinpoint why I like him so much.
2. Tarzan: mustached, crazy old dude, progressively funnier from recent weeks. Probably being portrayed as the most 'human' contestant so far with his memory issues.


3. Kat: emerging from the "who are you tier" the past few weeks in a positive light with her hilarious edit. Before that, all I can recall her doing is being awful in the second episode. Big turnaround here!
4. Jonas: been pretty consistent. Badass sushi chef, what else can you ask for? He's not overbearing but highly visible.
5. Jay: *much* better than what I originally thought of him in the first episode. His accent is kinda odd sounding but he's been relatively intelligent from his confessionals. Probably going to be a big immunity threat.


6. Christina: kinda just there. I'm kind of neutral on her. She hates Alicia though so she's cool in my book.
7. Leif: sleeps in a box. That's about it. Despite his size he's actually been a pretty good competitor.
8. Sabrina: boring narrator.

9. Kim: no personality. I don't care about her at all. She's played a good game I guess, which is why she's here and not further below I guess!
10. Chelsea: who? Oh she's in an alliance with Kim. That's about it. Boring.
11. Michael: who? Really kind of reminds me of Ryan O from Pearl Islands, despite having even less character than he did. I expect him to have a similar fate, probably one of the first boots at merge.
12. Alicia: awful. I should mute my tv every time she speaks, I doubt I'd miss much content.

Yeah, I was thinking this season's merge buff, since I'm liking this season a lot so far. I don't want to use ebay for old ones since I don't buy stuff online much, and this season's merge buff looks pretty cool. I also like how merge buffs aren't plastered with tribe names, and the fact that this one fills the empty space with cool designs.

Also one of my best friends today was telling me that she doesn't believe that the people on the show catch their own food, and are instead fed by producers. I asked how people lose 30 pounds and she said make up. >_>

She was definitely just trying to troll me since she's only seen a few episodes and knows I like Survivor, but UGHH PEOPLE ACTUALLY STILL THINK THE SHOW'S FAKE.

Also, the people are around tons of camera people that they talk to and whatnot, so there is some artificiality to it.

there is nothing "fake" about giving them tampons or condoms or sunscreen or bug spray because the people who make the show openly say they do that.

Yeah, and like if they didn't give them those, the entire show would just be watching the contestants getting medivac'd.

Remember early seasons when they'd give everyone coats / gloves too? I suppose we could make the show more "real" by removing them but then someone would have to be sent home in Africa whenever they tried to get water from one of the urns.

Also, I don't know if this is old news, but the finale date is officially May 13. This means two things:

1. There will likely not be a recap episode (meaning we'll likely never see a full intro for the season)

2. The recently-abandoned tradition of having the spring season finale be on Mother's Day has returned.

At least this is probably one of the best-selected covers in terms of who they put on it. Those really are the 6 that deserve to be there, love 'em or hate 'em, they were the big 6 personalities of the season. As opposed to some other covers.

It was like those challenges where you have to cross ropes that have little wooden discs on them, except instead of ropes, it was bars that didn't wobble. Every time I beat Russell in a leg, he acted all quiet and sad, but when he'd beat me in a leg he'd be like "You never even had a chance against me."

Jonas was on a local news show a couple days ago. He was doing some cooking challenge with other local chefs. He lives locally to where I am, but still kind of weird that he would be doing TV shows before the end of Survivor (or even the halfway point) with him still in the game.

I was on the brink of quitting viewership because I despised Colton so much. I don't actually find myself hating people at all usually, but watching Colton just turned me off to the show all together. Good Riddance I say.

So I was morbidly curious to see if Jack and Jill was really that bad.

In a full years time, from March 26, 2011, I've seen 233 different movies (well, first time watches only. I don't keep track of rewatches). And Jack and Jill was easily one of the worst 3 movies I've seen in a year.

It's worse than what we saw on Survivor, and that was already abysmal. I was embarrassed. Literally didn't even slightly smile once.

It's just unbelievably bad. You all knew this. But really, it's worse than you can imagine.
