I have my PS3 hooked up to both my TV and my monitor for easy switching back and forth.

my monitor has hdmi. the problem is that it doesn't have speakers. I was able to circumvent this problem with my ps3 by using my AV cables and outputting the audio through that.

and i found a video of a guy doing the same thing with his 360 (after breaking the cover for the AV plug because lol 360 design), but it doesn't work for me. :(
