You have made way too many controversial decisions, and while you may have had good intentions, you have definitely damaged the User of the Year brand. We cannot allow you to do that next year, as it would probably be the death bell of the entire contest. This is why me and Ulti are stepping in. We tried to last year, but the public was not ready for the transition. For UOTY 2013, however, the time is right. The contest needs us. You people need us. We intend to not just save User of the Year and undo the damage that lefty has done, but we also promise to bring the contest to levels that surpass even its best years. Our goals and vision for the contest: Reverse the devastating changes that lefty has done this year Restore glory and respect to the contest. Make people want to be "User of the Year" again New formats and gimmicks. We want to revolutionize user popularity contests. Get YOU involved! Vote for theme songs, special guest hosts for the different rounds, and just create a more user friendly experience. Expand into social media Now, many of you have raised concerns that if me and Ulti were to be in charge, that we would abuse our powers to benefit ourselves. You could not be further from the truth. We intend to use our powers to eliminate the widespread trolling that emanates from this contest. We will take a no bulls* and zero tolerance policy to trolling, and will do what is necessary to remove it from our contest. Do not think that we will use this to expand our power, but think of it as "smarter" use of it. There is a long time before the next contest, but we vow to keep up our energy and enthusiasm to make UOTY truly a special event.
