Wrongful calls I can sometimes understand (ie, someone is hit with a puck and they call a high stick), and wrong calls regarding goals being good or not are worth complaining about, because those really influence the game the most. If you're getting this worked up over no-calls now, the playoffs will destroy you. There's plays like that after whistles almost every game and the refs tend to let even more go before calling penalties.
No, the reason we're pissed that it wasn't called was because, as I have already mentioned and as the announcers even said, Steen got called for something like that earlier. He pushed a Wing and the guy dove. That was it. All he did was fall. And Steen got a roughing penalty. I don't think it's too much to ask for some consistency from the refs.

like i don't post a ton but when anything bad happens to the blackhawks in the postseason im always flippin ****. i love seeing everyone's reactions to **** that happens to their teams in the playoffs
Also Halo it's like you aren't used to dealing with the Ref Wings. It was such a glorious day for hockey when we beat them in the SCF. We overcame their advantage in experience and talent along with the refs being in their pockets all series long to defeat their ultimate evil for the good of all things holy.

I am used to them by now, still doesn't mean I won't b**** about them. I'm more disappointed in the Blues though, because even with the 5 minute penalty kill, Perron still scored. Then we got up by 2. So naturally our guys just... started slacking off and uncharacteristically let the Wings get two quick goals.

But man, thinking back on that I'm just relieved Bylsma won it and not Therrien. Talk about asspained crybabies, coming into every post-game press conference with a Power Point presentation of no-calls. He and Carlyle should start a club.

Regardless if he dove, Franzen still drew blood. Once again, a Red Wing dove after a push from Steen and that drew a penalty. It was a simple push. The Wing obviously dove. Whatever. I'm done. It doesn't matter.
Well, be upset that the Red Wings guy dove, not that your guy dove and didn't get the call. and it's not like Steen didn't get away with an obvious penalty when he chokeslammed the guy in the first anyway.

Tonight we win, obviously. Also the Sabres beat the Flyers. And the Devils win as well.
This would mean that this weekend we could potentially beat the Flyers, and doing that along with a Devils win would push them down to 6th and we'd get to face the Devils in Rd. 1 instead.
That's probably an awful lot to ask but hey I'm greedy.
