This Jericho/Punk thing is amazing. First they bring the alcoholic dad thing into it, and I'm thinking "really?" And they're like "yes," and they make it work and add a fire to the feud. Then they bring up that Punk's parents weren't married when he was born and I'm like "Uh, that's supposed to get under Punk's skin?" And they're like "yes," and they make it work again and make me really really want to see this match at Wrestlemania.

I mean I was all excited for CM Punk vs Christian, and I should be mad about Christian looking pathetic like that in his first match back, but holy crap that was an awesome beat down.

For the record, NEWZ websites are saying Christian is still somewhat injured so that was done to keep him away for a while longer.

I thought maybe they just wanted to balance the teams. Replace Christian with Drew McIntyre, and add Booker T to Team Teddy, and suddenly it's anyone's ballgame.

this basically says punk/christian will be a feud once christian recovers and he will try to get the belt. also, it says that christian will remain in the title scene once he gets back. punk is literally destroying canada, one wrestler at a time.

It's weird, because when I first saw Punk vs Christian, my thought was "Team Johnny wins, Daniel Bryan retains, Christian cashes in his title shot on CM Punk instead of Bryan." But then Punk destroyed Christian. I guess it could still happen, but Christian looked so helpless, and I don't know if he still gets his title shot from Johnny not participating in the match.
