Tell me what the storylines leading up to the matches are. Bear in mind I watch maybe 20 shows a year spread between WWE, TNA and a roughly even mix of PPVs and weekly shows.

The world's most boring man's lawyer and an Italian with a green sock on his hand are both captaining teams where the winning team will decide who gets to GM both Smackdown and Raw.

WHY DONTE, WHY!!!

1.) Daniel Bryan has been a cowardly heel, chaining together a string of cheap wins over big opponents. Sheamus won the Rumble and has been like a train coming to run Bryan down and end his streak of Lucky wins.

2.) Chris Jericho and CM Punk both think they are the best in the world and Jericho wants to beat Punk to prove it for the WWE title. Jericho has also been playing mindgames with Punk and bringing his family's substance abuse problems into the equation.

3.) John Laurinitis and Teddy Long both want to be the GM of both weekly shows. To that end they put together two 6 man tag teams to determine the who gets the job. (this one has a bunch of minor subplots but theyre not gonna come up so dont sweat it)

4.) Triple H failed to beat The Undertaker last year but has been talking about how he ended the Undertaker. Taker came back and now theres gonna be a rematch this time in hell in a cell with Shawn Michaels refereeing.

5.) John Cena and the Rock have had their mania match announced for a year and have been exchanging schoolyard taunts for like 6 months now. They finally wrestle for the first time sunday.

6. ) Eve is a slut and her ex-best friend Kelly Kelly thinks thats shameful. Theyre gonna fight and Maria Menounous is gonna be there for some reason.

7.) Big Show always loses at Wrestlemania and Cody Rhodes has been making fun of him. Show finally gets to fight the little jerk at mania.

I think thats the whole show.

Tell me what the storylines leading up to the matches are. Bear in mind I watch maybe 20 shows a year spread between WWE, TNA and a roughly even mix of PPVs and weekly shows.

Cody Rhodes vs. Big Show for the IC Title - Cody spent about three weeks taunting Big Show about how he always sucks at Wrestlemania and how he lost to Akebono and Floyd Mayweather there and such. Cody basically thinks he will win solely because Big Show chokes at Wrestlemania pretty much every year.

Kane vs. Orton - kind of a BS story but basically they had a street fight match in july which ended in Orton winning, them shaking hands, and then Mark Henry decimating Kane and putting him out of action for five months. Kane wants to beat Orton to bury his human side because he's disgusted with himself for shaking hands with Orton. Probably the worst build.

Rock vs. Cena - Rock apparently has a rather large wang, which he brings up a lot, and Cena calls him out for it. Also Rock wants to cement himself as the best ever by being the only man to beat Austin, Hogan AND Cena at WM. Cena wants to beat him because Rock dumped on the business by leaving.

Team Long vs. Team Johnny Ace - Both GMs of their respective shows (Smackdown and Raw), both want control of said shows. They each have a team of six: Kofi Kingston, R-Truth, Santino Marella (c), Zack Ryder, The Great Khali and Booker T vs. Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger, Mark Henry, Drew McIntyre, The Miz, and David Otunga (c)

HHH vs. Undertaker (Hell in a Cell with Shawn Michaels as guest ref): HHH wants to end the streak, pretty simple. Hell in a Cell because omg awesome. Also, the memory remains, or something.

CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho, aka the most orgasmic match of our time: Chris Jericho is pissed that CM Punk started claiming to be the best in the world when Jericho felt he proved he was the best in the world long ago. So they will fight. Also Jericho is now bringing up Punk's alcoholic father and substance-abusing sister in order to get to Punk

Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan - Sheamus won the Rumble, Daniel Bryan is the WORLD! HEAVYWEIGHT! CHAMPION! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!

Beth Phoenix and Eve Torres vs. Kelly Kelly and Maria Melounos - wtf is this s***

Haters gonna hate on Kane vs Orton

That's my second favorite build because it doesn't even legitimately try to be meaningful in any way. It's just two guys randomly attacking each other and then Kane bsing a reason after the fact.

The others actively try to be all like... story driven or personal or whatever and they're just boring, too drawn out, or something we've already seen.

Except Cody vs Big Show. That one delivers.
